Chinook City

Chinook City Roller Derby (CCRD) is a Calgary non-profit association dedicated to learning, playing, and promoting co-ed roller derby in a skater owned and operated team atmosphere.

Roller Derby is a sport based on the principles of community, sportsmanship, and competition driven by volunteerism; all aspects of league formation and operation by team members for team members on a purely volunteer basis.

Mission Statement

Chinook City Roller Derby League welcomes individuals of all athletic abilities to develop and grow the sport of roller derby through a program of active participation.

We seek to foster a community of roller derby enthusiasts from all walks of life to develop and support our sport.

Teams

Chinook City Roller Derby plays competitive men’s and women’s Roller Derby in a fun, athletic, and inclusive team environment.

Glenmore Reservoir Dogs
The Glenmore Reservoir Dogs are Chinook City's competitive men's team. We play men’s roller derby, mostly on the road and have visited places like Oregon, Colorado, California, Utah, and Japan!
Natural Born Thrillers
The Natural Born Thrillers are Chinook City's Co-Ed team. We play co-ed roller derby throughout Alberta.
